An “About Me” section can always be so hard. How do you tell someone enough about yourself to let them know you’re a real person but not make it sound like a tv ad? Haha i guess the best way is to go with the basics.
i am a very happily married (recently) woman who is exploring and incorporating living a D/s or M/s lifestyle with my wonderful Husband. While we were dating we talked about issues like dominance and submission and discovered that we had found more in each other than just soul mates. i have a submissive nature and although being a submissive was something i always wanted to be i was never able to. In previous relationships i was always the one that had to be in control. i never really understood how deep the submissive need went until Master (Husband) and i started exploring and incorporating some of the concepts. The same goes for Him – He never really knew it was what He wanted and needed until we started working on it together. It’s kind of like that feeling of coming home. Together we have found pieces of ourselves that we knew on some level existed but never knew how deep those pieces ran and could never really express them.
We are still fairly new to the lifestyle and it is hard work to keep it going in among everyday life, kids, work, etc but we are both willing to put in the work because it means that much to us.
In this lifestyle i have truly found the peace and freedom (sounds like a contradiction but it’s not) that i have longed for my entire life. Being able to explore it, live it, and share it with the man of my dreams is just icing on the cake!
If you are also into this lifestyle i hope you find something here that will be useful to your own journey. If you are not in this lifestyle i hope you will find something here that will foster a better understanding that everyone’s path is their own and even though it might not be for you it is still a valid, loving, and peaceful path. Enjoy….
**Realizing i need to update this section! We are no longer “fairly new” to this lifestyle and we have come a very long way. We started out with D/s since we knew we had a learning curve to accomplish but i am happy, so happy, to report we are now moving more to an M/s dynamic. Master gave me my permanent collar just recently and although it’s taking some time getting used to wearing it all the time, it’s wonderful! We have had our ups and downs, and still continue to learn through the process, but it is more than i could have ever hoped for. i am at peace, i am safe, i am owned – heart, body, and soul!
